14th October 2021 Match Away at Prestbury

Both our A and B Teams represented our school very well this week in the first game of the season. We travelled away to Prestbury. The A Team game started as good as it could have after Stefan scored two brilliant goals.  We were against a resilient side though as Prestbury managed to go 3-2 up in the second half.  After hitting the post and a few near misses we unfortunately couldn’t grab anymore goals even though we never gave up!

The B Team game was another close affair, with some chances at either end. A second half strike meant that it was a narrow 1-0 loss.

Y5 & Y6 Girls Tournament at All Hallows

This week our Year 5 & 6 girls football team made the school extremely proud as they took
part in the All Hallows Learning Community Football Tournament. The girls went unbeaten in
the 4 games they played and came back with Gold medals after a tense draw in the final.

Y5 & Y6 Boys Tournament at All Hallows

Great success on Wednesday for both our Football A & B teams, with St Alban’s winning the All Hallows Learning Community tournament. In fact, neither side lost a game until the final where the A team came out as overall winners. Special praise to Ben, Charlie and Reiss.
