Mini Vinnies
This is a group for primary aged children who come together to form a part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) who’s motto is ‘turning concern into action’. The group meets to pray, discuss opportunities to help others here in school, in the local community, or in other areas of the world. They plan activities that they can take part in to help others. Mrs Rosemary McBride, from St. Alban’s Parish SVP, supports and guides the group here in school. She comes in once a week and works with our UKS2 Mini-Vinnies during lunchtime.
We are Mini Vinnies!
At St Alban's we are proud to have our own Mini Vinnies' group which is part of the St Vincent de Paul Society. We get together every week to help those in need within our school community and to learn all about social justice issues. It is all about living our faith through action.
