St Alban's School

Welcome back to all our children, but especially our new Year 6 Classes! You will be finding out shortly who your Reception Buddy will be ready to welcome them into their school life and support them through their first year at school!

St Alban's Reading Buddies Scheme

 

At St Alban's School we have our very own special reading buddy initiative.  Our older chilaren participate in a paired reading scheme with a younger child.  The scheme enables one-to-one guided reading time and it is a fun, personal and effective way to introduce the pleasures of reading to both our younger and older children.
