Beyond Lies More Assembly
Six Year 5 pupils had the pleasure of going to All Hallows with Mrs Cooke and Mrs Oyinloye, to attend the launch of an exciting new project, that will be across the whole school and Academy. They had a wonderful time, listening to an inspirational presentation from the owner and commissioner of a painting called ‘Beyond lies more’ and England rugby player, Luther Burnell. They shared how their life experiences, challenges, discipline and determination had brought them to speak out about equality for all and how people of the past and present can inspire us to have kind words and actions to those around us. Our Year 5 pupils are excited to share what they heard and how as a school, we will be involved in the project. Take a look at our Powerpoint below.
