Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade - a fair deal for all!

Every year St Alban's School promotes and leads Fairtrade Fortnight in Macclesfield.  All the local primary schools in Macclesfield are invited to enter Mac Town's Fairtrade Poster Competition.  Children  research Fairtrade and produce posters to promote the important work carried out by the Fairtrade Foundation.  The posters are displayed at Macclesfield Library every year during Fairtrade Fortnight.   The Mayors of Cheshire East and Macclesfield and our local MP the Rt Hon David Rutley always support and attend this event.  The Mayor of Macclesfield chooses the winning poster and a prize is awarded to the school with the best poster! See the links and information below to find out more.
