Roman Learning
Last week we learnt about Gladiators and used information from the book 'You Wouldn't Want to be a Roman Gladiator!' We then imagined we had been captured to be sold as a gladiator and wrote a letter home explaining what had happened. See the link below to read the book again.
Next, in our Roman's topic we are going to be learning about Roman soldiers and the army.
We will be looking at a Roman soldier's uniform and what each part is called (in Latin) and why it is so important. We will also be learning about what it was like to be a soldier in the Roman army.
