Good morning everyone. We hope you are all keeping well and are accessing the homelearning work.
Where appropriate, we have included answers with the work. Please mark your own work and send us in a photo of it so that we can see where any problems lie. Or just drop us an email if you don't understand anything. Keep working hard and doing your best.
In our Maths lesson today, we will be learning how to calculate the size of angles inside triangles and identifying the types of angles within shapes.
Practise the spellings on the sheet. Then write each word in a complex sentence.
Remember, a complex sentence needs a subordinate clause (extra information that can be removed from a sentence).
eg deceive When you deceive someone, you cannot be trusted to do the right thing.
'When you deceive someone' is the subordinate clause because it does not make sense on its own.
Our English lesson today is focusing upon writing a persuasive advert and recapping the use of apostrophes. Please play the powerpoint and follow the audio instructions carefully.
Yesterday, you watched a powerpoint about keeping our bodies healthy by eating a balanced diet.
Today, you need to read the Food Card Labels and identify the amount of fat, carbohydrate, protein and fibre in each food.
Then complete worksheet D by checking the information in Food Label Cards.
