This is a descriptosaurus. It is an extract from the book.
Topics covered are: Hiding, Eerie presence, Storms and Fantasy Characters.
All the vocabulary will be useful for story/description writing but the Fantasy Characters section will be especially useful today to help with words to describe the beast.

A) Please watch the clips about the Last Supper and read the bible extracts.
When you have finished think about the following questions:
Is there anything surprising that Jesus says or does at the meal that is different from the usual Passover Meal?
Which words does Jesus say as he talks about the bread and wine?
If you were a disciple of Jesus how would those words make you feel and why?
What does Jesus say is about to happen to him?
During Jesus' final hours, Jesus showed the kind of leader he was. He showed that he rejected pride and my right and instead believed in humility and service of others. He was the one who washed the feet of the disciples - a job usually given to a servant. He also taught them that they should be prepared to make even bigger sacrifices as he was indeed going to do. In the meal, the lamb's blood reminded them that the Jews had been freed from slavery in Egypt; in the same way Jesus' blood would set them free from their sins.
Your task: To write a diary entry as one of the disciples eg Peter to describe what happened during the Last Supper and to include your feelings.
