Marian Procession
The whole school takes part in our Marian Procession. Our service begins in the hall with prayers, hymns, reflections and readings. We process out to the field to continue the service outdoors. Each child brings a flower into school, a bouquet is made from every class and these are displayed outside by the statue of Mary. Reception children process with their Year 6 buddies and the youngest child in the school, has the honour of crowning Our Lady. The children sing bring Flowers of the Rarest and Ave Maria beautifully.
The display remains outside at the end of the school day for children and families to visit and say prayers together.
