Phonics

  • Alphablocks Click on 'choose an episode' via BBC iPlayer. Alternatively, you can type in Alphablocks alongside a focus phoneme (e.g. 'e' or 'ai') into Youtube.

  • Mr Thorne does Phonics Everyone loves Geraldine the Giraffe! These are really useful videos if you are looking for more information on a certain phoneme.
  • Free daily phonics lessons from Letters and Sounds There are three sets of lessons to choose from: 10am: For children who can confidently blend and read words such as ‘fish’ ‘chat’ and ‘rain’. 10.30am: For children who can confidently blend and read words such as ‘stamp’ ‘chair’ and ‘green’. 11am: For children who need extra practise sounding and reading words such as ‘cap’ ‘mat’ ‘pat’.
