Vision and Values

Picture 1

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

To love, learn, share and respect in the light of Jesus.

Our Aims:

  • We will create a caring Catholic community in which all members can grow in love, trust and respect for one another.

  • We will ensure that each member of our Catholic school community feels special as a child of God.

  • We will celebrate our differences and similarities.

  • We will help each other to develop our particular talents.

  • We will communicate clearly and honestly with each other.

  • We will create a sense of belonging between our school, our Church and our families.

Advent at St Alban's School

Each child from every class is taking home this beautiful bag containing a crib, prayer book and candle.  Please spend some time as a family to reflect upon the meaning of Christmas and to share your thoughts and prayers.  If a member of the family would like to write their prayer in our prayer book that would be wonderful.  We can then share them as a class.   THANK YOU.

Fairtrade Coffee Morning, Saturday, 9th March

Year 4 had a great time on Saturday morning running the Fairtrade Coffee Morning activities for Macclesfield’s primary schools.  The children took part in creating a Mother’s Day card with a special gift inside of a Fairtrade teabag.  They had great fun in meeting and talking to our Mayor who,  being so impressed with our children,  has promised to come and visit the school over the coming months.

Many thanks to all the parents for their support. It was a tremendous turn out and will help raise much needed funds for this very worthy cause.  A big thank you to the Co-Op for all their donations and supporting our community.

Looking after God's world.  Please see below some of the work led by our Gift Team and Recycling Team.
