Benefits
St Alban's catering providers are Dolce Catering.
About Dolce
Dolce is a family business with a genuine interest in the welfare of children.
From our strict environmental policy to our policies on processed foods, our methodology for transforming kitchens areas and work ethic is equaled by our love for what we do. The idea that sub-par food is acceptable because it is served to children is not one that we agree with.
And the pupils and teachers we serve agree. That is why we provide contact information for the head teachers of every school we are engaged with on request. We are proud of what we do and invite you to find out more.
We have achieved top industry awards for our catering service and hope to achieve many more.
For more information on pre ordering please visit the Dolce website or see above.
Food Procurement & Standards
Quality ingredients are required to make quality meals.
Below are some of the standards that we set and meet when providing a wholesome, balanced and well procured meal for our clients:
Red Tractor
All our meat is Red Tractor assured which assures production standards on safety, hygiene, animal welfare and the environment. It also means the meat in our meals is fully traceable back to independently inspected farms in the UK.
Fair Trade
We use Fairtrade produce in our schools to ensure disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries get a better deal through the use of the international FAIRTRADE Mark.
