MUSIC
At St Alban's Catholic Primary school, we implement a Music curriculum that is progressive, based the Charanga scheme. Music is taught weekly, focusing on knowledge and skills stated in the National Curriculum. Whilst the Charanga scheme is a great basis for our musical learning, at St Alban’s we also understand the importance of creating a bespoke and relevant curriculum. In Music this means creating a wide range of opportunities for performance and signposting children to a wide range of peripatetic music teachers.
