International Day

INTERNATIONAL DAY

We had an amazing time celebrating the nationalities and cultures of our school family!  Each teacher led the children through a country, looking at interesting facts about where it is in the world, what its population is, what the flag looks like and much more.  As they flew around the school having their passport stamped, pupils had the opportunity to take part in exciting activities from art, dance, food tasting, drama, singing, fact hunting, postcard making, tie dying, instrument making, flag painting, henna designing to mention a few.

The following day, as a whole school, we came together in celebration to showcase all of the amazing things we took part in.  We saw beautiful pieces of art, heard interesting facts, watched brilliant dances and singing performances and had lots of fun looking at photos from our fun day.  A big thank you to all the teaching staff, TAs and Office staff for helping to make the day a huge success!

See the PowerPoint link below to see the fun activities and how we dressed in traditional dress.
