St. Joan Of Arc
Joan of Arc was a poor girl living in France during a time that her people were under threat and being attacked. Although she was only a teenager, she managed to inspire the French army to many important victories in the 15th Century, most famously, defending the city of Orleans from siege. St. Joan acted with divine guidance after her visions of St. Catherine and St. Margaret who told her to go on the journey to inspire the armies. Among others, St. Joan was resilient, persevering and brave, three characteristics we encourage our children to show during their time at St. Alban's.
