Love of Mankind,

Love of life itself,

Let us remember that.

so many hands build a house and

so many hearts make a school.

Amen.

9 - 9:20 - Get Ready for the Day

Your morning zoom call with your teachers will start at 9:10am. Use the ten minutes before this to get yourself set up for your SPAG lesson and have a little browse of what you are doing during your day.

9:20 - 9:50 - SPAG

9:50 - 10:45 - English (Oak Academy)

Today you will turn your plans from yesterday into the first part of your build up. You will want to consider using thoughtful vocabulary, noun phrases, personification and precise verbs and adverbs in your writing. I have attached some word maps to help you expand your range of vocabulary.

11:10 - 12:05 - Maths *Submission

Please see your groups maths work for today's lesson.

Mrs Ghosh's Group (Year 4 - Graphs)

12:05 - 12:35 - Comprehension (Albert Einstein)

Albert Einstein is one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. Much of the work he did, more than 100 years ago, still underpins many ideas in the world of physics today. Moreover, some theories he suggested are only just being proven right! A very clever man, but he didn't find school easy, in fact he was dyslexic and found certain parts of school (especially grammar and spellings) really hard.

Complete the reading comprehension about Albert Einstein to learn more about him. There are three levels of difficulty for the comprehension and questions (1 star = easiest, 3 stars = hardest). Make sure you choose the questions and answers that match the correct reading pages.

Your science experiment this afternoon is based on some of the work that Albert Einstein was interested in.

Before Lunch Prayer

Bless us O Lord,

and these thy gifts,

for which we are about to receive,

from thy bounty,

through Jesus Christ Our Lord,

Amen.

After Lunch Prayer

Thankyou God for the food we have eaten,

thankyou for our family and friends,

thankyou God for everything.

Amen.

1:30 - 2:45 - Science (Layered Liquid Experiment)

Today you will conduct an experiment looking at an area of physics Albert Einstein was interested in: density. There are some teaching slides to recap your understanding of density before explaining today's investigation.

Please note: this experiment does involve liquids. Make sure you conduct it in a place which is easy to clean and away from any electronics. Also make sure you clean up any equipment and mess you make. This is not your parents/carer's responsibility!

Have fun learning.

2:45 - 3 - Quiet Reading

Enjoy some more relaxing time reading your own book.
