Class Report

Week ending 3rd October

Wow! Friday again! It's been another busy week in Pine class.

Our Roman Gladiator dances are coming together. This week we had to include unison, canon and action/reaction in our dances. In English, we've started to look at Roman myths and legends. There's lots of Roman Gods and Goddesses who's names Mr Stewart can't pronounce. On Thursday, Evie, Eva, Izzie and Sofia took part in a girls football tournament and came 2nd! Well done! On Friday the year 4's went to All Hallows for an afternoon of music and singing.

Week ending 19th September

This week we've had a busy week. On Monday the Year 4's went swimming for the first time. It was lots of fun. On Wednesday we had the opportunity to interview Father Peter and found out that in his spare time he likes to play Squash. In topic, we went time travelling and explored all the different time periods before and after the Romans. On Friday, we became Roman Gladiators and wrote letters home to our family telling them how hard it was. In PE this week, we've enjoyed playing Tag Rugby and in dance we became Gladiators and thought about action and reaction!
